Guarding Our Thoughts
How are we at guarding our thoughts? Where do our thoughts go when we have a free moment to think, or while we are doing a monotonous task that doesn’t take much thought, like washing the car, doing dishes, or folding laundry?
Although many of those thoughts you and I will never share with another person, they are all known to God. Nothing is kept from our Maker, He knows us better than we know ourselves.
Do you have thoughts you would rather not share with Jesus? I think we all do at times. Satan likes to whisper in our ear, and he know just what to whisper. This is why we need to learn about guarding our thoughts.
I am honored to be a guest writer over at Counting My Blessings. Deb Wolf has a generous and helpful heart, and is posting one of my writings over at her on-line home. Please, click over to read about Guarding our thoughts and check out her wonderful site.
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
2 Corinthians 10:5
If you enjoy my thoughts on this I would love to have you share. Also, I always enjoy to hear your thoughts, feel free to share in the comments below.
